Our Sports Massage course represents a fantastic opportunity for individuals to gain invaluable additional manual skills and also to obtain an accredited ITEC diploma with the potential to work in private practice as a Sports Massage Therapist.
The course is intensively taught over 6 days, over 90% of which is practical-based allowing students to gain as much hands-on practice and confidence as possible.
The Sports Massage course offers invaluable skills and knowledge for any undergraduate or post graduate Physiotherapist, Osteopath, Chiropractor, Sport Scientist, S and C coach or qualified fitness professional looking to work within a sporting setting or provide an alternative service for clients.
What can a Sports Massage Therapist do?
Once qualified, a Sports Massage Therapist is able to work in private practice or as an employed therapist in a setting of their choice charging a fee for the treatment that they provide. Students who have qualified through ProActive Training have gone on to work in professional sporting arenas, gyms, private clinics, existing businesses and many other environments.
